Jeongbang waterfall This waterfall represents Jeju Island. It is the only waterfall in Asia that falls from land into the sea. A place where you can dip your feet in the water. 'Seobulgwacha' was written in Chinese characters on the rock wall of Jeongjeong Waterfall. There is a legend that an envoy from Qin Shi Huang came to Yeongju Mountain (now Mount Halla) in Jeju Island and went around looking for the herb of immortality, inscribed on a rock. Jeongbang Waterfall has a lot of rocks, so you have to walk very carefully under your feet, and the stairs are easy to come down, but very difficult to get around. As the only natural waterfall in Asia that falls into the sea, it creates a more beautiful scenery when there are many photos and rainbows. Jeongbang Falls is one of the top 10 unexplored places in Jeju Island and is a must-see tourist attraction.
Abu Oreum Abu Oreum, located in Songdang-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju City, Jeju Island, boasts one of the largest craters in Jeju, reaching a height of 301 meters. Its name derives from its hollow shape, which resembles a "fatherly figure sitting." The circular cedar forest within the crater creates a unique landscape. The easy climb makes this Jeju Oreum a perfect destination for families. Abu Oreum is also famous as a filming location for a movie starring actor Lee Jung-jae. Legend has it that this Oreum, where a power struggle actually took place, brought success through the aura of power.
The Jeju Horse Ranch on the May 16th Road is a place to see Jeju ponies, designated and protected as a natural monument since 1986. They are also called "gosumokma" (meaning "long-haired horses") for their peaceful frolics on the Hallasan grasslands. These ponies are known for their gentle nature, docility, and resilience, even in the cold. As a cultural heritage site, the ranch grounds are off-limits, and grazing is restricted in winter, making it difficult to see the horses. Depending on the weather, on clear days, you can admire the horses grazing on the vast, green meadows, taking photos and creating beautiful memories. On cloudy days, fog envelops the ranch, creating a charming and dreamlike atmosphere.

Seokguram Grotto in Jeju was founded by the monk Gamdong of Wolamdang. It is said that while searching for a place to pray, Wolam prayed for 1,000 days at a burial site above the Fairy Falls in the Ninety-Nine Valleys. On the day he returned home, guided by a small bird, he chose the current site of Seokguram Grotto. Even today, many people seeking relief from the frustrations of life visit the Grotto, especially those praying for success in exams. It is a constant stream of visitors and prayers. I hope your small wish will come true while exploring Seokguram Grotto. Hiking poles are essential. The ascent is very strenuous and requires strong stamina. The descent, which feels like descending a mountain, requires careful descent to avoid straining your knees.
