This place was battle field, especially with USA in 1871. You can understand how important Ganghwa island was for Joseon dynasty.
Old Buddhist temple in the Samrangseong fortress was a battle field with France in 1866. Visiting beautiful temple in the mountain to understand culture of Korean Buddhism.
This place has Luge ride, if you are interested in riding Luge down the hill, it is available. (This place is optional)
Visiting traditional Market to see what kind of special products that Ganghwa Island offers.
You can see North Korean people's living through binocular. North Korea is only 2 km away from the Island.
Stop by beautiful Yeonmijeong Pavilion to see the view of the island as well as a peek of North Korea.
