At Gyeongbokgung Palace, you can experience the grandeur of the Joseon Dynasty and the beauty of traditional Korean architecture. The majestic Geunjeongjeon Hall served as the main throne hall for royal ceremonies, while Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, surrounded by a tranquil pond, was used for banquets and receptions for foreign envoys. Gyotaejeon and Gangnyeongjeon offer a glimpse into the daily lives of the king and queen. The picturesque Hyangwonjeong Pavilion, set on a small island, is a popular photo spot. Visitors dressed in hanbok make the atmosphere even more authentic. Gyeongbokgung harmoniously blends history, culture, and beauty, making it one of Seoul’s most iconic landmarks.
