Today, it is surrounded by modern concrete buildings, yet within it you can still find a preserved hanok village where ancestors once lived. As it remains a residential neighborhood, visitors are asked to keep noise to a minimum while enjoying the unique atmosphere of these traditional Korean houses.
Insadong is a vibrant cultural street where Korea’s traditions meet modern life. Enjoy a leisurely walk past traditional tea houses, artisan shops, and galleries, and discover unique souvenirs in an atmosphere rich with Korean heritage.
Ikseon-dong Hanok street is a charming area where traditional hanok houses are reimagined as stylish cafés, boutiques, and restaurants. Stroll through its narrow alleys and enjoy a unique blend of old Seoul and modern trends.
