Itinerary
The Gyeongpodae area will hold a cherry blossom festival during the cherry blossom season. This festival is a representative festival of Gangneung City and attracts many domestic and foreign tourists every year. It is held in mid-April every year. After comprehensively judging the flowering period and the peak bloom period of the cherry blossoms, the festival schedule will be announced in March.
Jumunjin Beach is the filming location of the popular Korean drama "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God". The cherry blossoms and the coastline in spring complement each other, creating a unique scenery.
Gangneung Central Market is the most representative traditional market in Gangneung City, Gangwon-do. It was established in 1980. The Central Market can be mainly divided into a traditional market and an underground fishery market. The first floor is for retail and wholesale of electronic products, clothing, dried fish, shoes, food ingredients, etc.; the second floor is for restaurants, cafes, etc.; the basement is a fresh fish and fishery market, etc., with all kinds of goods available.
