Itinerary
Gyeonghwa Station Cherry Blossom Trail was originally the abandoned Gyeonghwa Railway Station (경화역). The cherry blossom trees on both sides of the railway track, which stretch for about 800 meters, bloom in spring (early April), forming a light pink flower sea trail. The nostalgic scene of rusty railway tracks, old-fashioned signal lights and cherry blossoms makes it a popular place for photography enthusiasts and Korean drama filming.
The Yeojacheon Cherry Blossom Trail is located in Jinhae District, Changwon City, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. It is one of the most famous cherry blossom attractions in South Korea. It stretches for about 1.5 kilometers along the Yeojacheon (여좌천) River. Thousands of Yoshino cherry trees are densely planted on both sides. When they bloom in spring (late March to April), they form a magnificent pink flower corridor, which is known as the "Cherry Blossom Tunnel". This place is famous for being adjacent to the Jinhae Military Port Festival, the largest cherry blossom festival in South Korea.
Gimhae Nakdong Riverside Cherry Blossom Trail is one of the most representative cherry blossom viewing spots in southern South Korea. Stretching along the banks of the Nakdong River (낙동강), the cherry blossom trail is about 4 kilometers long and is planted with thousands of Yoshino cherry trees, which form a magnificent pink sea of flowers when they bloom in spring (late March to April). This place is famous for its open river view and cherry blossoms. Visitors can stroll along the river and enjoy the picturesque scenery of cherry blossoms, river water and blue sky.
Jinhae Military Port Festival (Cherry Blossom Festival) is the largest cherry blossom festival in Korea, held from the end of March to April every year. Jinhae is dotted with more than 300,000 cherry blossom trees, with the most famous being the Yeojacheon Cherry Blossom Road, Gyeonghwa Station Cherry Blossom Road and Anmin Road, forming a magnificent pink sea of flowers. During the festival, there are light shows, music performances, cultural parades and food markets. The Jinhae Military Port Festival is known as a world-class cherry blossom festival, attracting millions of tourists to experience the romance and cultural charm of spring.
