Suwon Fortress was originally destroyed during WW2 and rebuilt after. It has become a place for many Koreans to relax and enjoy the long walk and eat at one of its many delicious cafes.

Famous sticky rice churros and ice cream that has become a go to place for locals in the summer.
The walk up can be difficult but rewarding. Steps are rather large around 2/3's a foot tall.

The Suwon Hwaseong Fortress extends is a moderately difficult but rewarding walk with many different views of the city and historical architecture of the war torn fortress.
