Itinerary
Discover a different side of Korea with this guided hiking experience at Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site just an hour from Seoul. If exploring only Seoul feels too familiar, this tour offers a refreshing change—combining history, culture, and local life outside the capital. We will take a relaxed 2.5-hour walk along the fortress wall, passing impressive gates, pavilions, and towers. This is not a challenging mountain trek, but there are uphill paths and stairs, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Along the way, I will share engaging stories about the fortress, while also pointing out the best photo spots. To finish our adventure, we’ll enjoy a K-food with makgeolli. It’s the perfect reward after the hike. Led by a licensed English tour guide, this experience is ideal for travelers who want more than the usual Seoul highlights. You’ll return with memorable photos, fascinating stories, and a deeper connection to Korea’s heritage.
