Seoul's largest and most iconic royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty, renowned for its grand traditional Korean architecture, the majestic Gwanghwamun Gate, serene pavilions like Gyeonghoeru, and rich historical significance.
Bukchon Hanok Village is a representative traditional residence in Seoul, where traditional Korean houses are concentrated. It is a town best known to foreigners and a tourist destination. Bukchon is located between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo Shrine. It is called the Street Museum in downtown because it has many historical sites, cultural assets, and folk materials. It is called Bukchon because it is the upper part of Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno.
Suyon Sanbang is a historic modernized hanok, known as the former home and literary salon of novelist Lee Tae-joon where renowned Korean writers gathered; now a traditional teahouse offering peaceful garden views, literary heritage, and elegant hanok architecture.
Naksan Park is a scenic urban park in Seoul known for its beautiful nighttime city views, walking trails along the historic Seoul City Wall, and peaceful natural surroundings.
Ikseondong is a historic Seoul neighborhood known for its charming 100-year-old hanok houses with narrow alleys, uniquely blending traditional Korean architecture with trendy modern cafes, boutique shops, and vibrant creative culture.
